Jazz in the Park 29th Season- 2016

Not many communities our size (or much bigger) can boast of such a long time quality cultural series such as ours.  Since we started in 1988 we have had Down Beat Jazz Poll winners/finalists, Grammy nominees, groups with top 10 jazz albums with sales of over 100,000 albums, and over 1000 musicians from many states and several countries including England, Germany, Japan, Brazil, Sweden, Iceland, Russia, and Iran. Jazz in the park concerts are free.  Concerts start at 7 pm each Thursday starting after July 4 and continuing through August in the bandstand in Staunton’s Gypsy Hill Park–600 Churchville Avenue, Staunton VA.  Lawn chairs are suggested.  Concessions are available.
